Nadra K Real Estate was established in 1980 with a total of two staff persons -- Nadra D. Kissman, Broker, and Katha Kissman, Sales Agent and Office Manager. Ramberg), a marketing manager -- Karla Kissman Madison, and a support staff of two.

Nadra K Real Estate regularly advertises in The Chicago Tribune, The New Buffalo Times, The Gazette/Shopper, the Harbor Country News, Homes, Homes & Lifestyles-Harbor Country monthly edition and the monthly Harbor Country Real Estate Guide. We also do spot advertising in Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce Tour Guide, The South Bend Tribune, The Herald Palladium, The Other Side of the Lake, The Beacher, Michiana Business Direct, LAKE Magazine, Shore Magazine, Chicago Law Bulletin, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Life Magazine, Crain’s Chicago Business, and any other publications which may carry Harbor Country editorial or in which the Harbor Country Advertising Collective of the Chamber of Commerce participates.

We have also advertised effectively in specialty venues, such as an ad in the annual Lakefront SRO Home & Garden charity home walk program. Another example of joint advertising is our membership in the “Red Arrow Ride” business association and the “New Buffalo Business Association.”

Nadra K has also recognized the huge viability of the world wide web and maintains our own domain ( www.nadrak.com ) which features information on all of our Associates plus advertises our entire current listing inventory in an easy to navigate site. Our website is updated and maintained regularly with new listings, price and status changes. All of our listings have photos, fact sheets and mapping programs on our website. Most of our listings have full color photo tours on www.nadrak.com. In addition, all of our listings are also on the Southwestern Michigan Multiple Listing Systems web site – www.swmric.com which also downloads onto the national Realtor’s site – www.realtor.com.

Through the creative advertising of all our listings, we demonstrate to the market our variety of offerings and our ability to work with different kinds of Buyers for different kinds of properties. We rotate our listings in advertising, creating a well-rounded demand for all of our listings.

Mailings

Nadra K Real Estate sends out a variety of mailings throughout the year. These mailings include postcards advertising new listings or price changes, color flyers and specialty mailings. Nadra K has a mailing list of over 8,000, all of whom are recent and past contacts to Nadra K Real Estate with regards to the purchase of property in the Harbor Country area. Some mailings go out to our entire mailing list while others are targeted towards prospects who have indicated a specific interest in a particular area (lakefront or lake access for example) or a particular need (farm land or a commercial offering).

We also distribute postcards, flyers, brochures, etc. throughout the community including spots such as at The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce, the I-94 Michigan Welcome Center, the inns and lodging establishments of our area, as well as other businesses, shops and restaurants in Harbor Country which attract tourist traffic.

The more prospective Buyers we can attract to our office, the more prospective Buyers we will have for your listing!

Promotional Literature

Nadra K Real Estate will produce a comprehensive “fact package” of your property including the information listed in the Southwestern Michigan Multiple Listing Service, a descriptive overview of the property highlighting all amenities and details to encourage marketability, and a plat or map showing the property location, as well as providing detailed directions to find your property from our offices. If your listing is a home or business, we also provide a copy of a color photo(s), which we have found extremely helpful in creating interest from prospective Buyers. This information is shared with any person making an inquiry of the property, as well as sent to other area offices to stimulate additional sales.

The more information we can provide to a prospective Buyer, the better!

Marketing your property effectively often translates into the marketing of your Broker and her image. Nadra’s history as a native in the area who enjoys a healthy and positive relationship with all municipal officials, combined with her 30+ years real estate experience, is well acknowledged and respected. Nadra K Real Estate views all of our sales activities regarding every property listed with us, as well as the maintenance of a clean, attractive, professional sales environment staffed by a competent and trained sales force, to be our biggest asset in promoting your property. We anticipate our continued ability to do all of the above, as well as offering our services at established hours seven days a week on a year round basis -- one of the few area offices to do so.

All of the above services will be provided within the scope of our contractual agreement with you in the listing of your property at our standard commission rate. And, remember, Nadra K Real Estate takes the risk -- if we do not perform, we do not get reimbursed for our time, effort, energy, overhead or advertising costs in marketing your property.
