Nadra K: Current Properties

Built in 1910 as part of the Hellenga family farm compound. The elder Mr. Hellenga lived on the NW corner of Kruger and Three Oaks Road and built three additional homes for his three sons, this one and the two directly south of this house. This house remained in the Hellenga family for 2 generations.
The original house had a kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor and sun porch on the main level and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level. A 12x12 foyer served as a small grocery store in the 1930's.
In 1958, a large addition connected the main house and the large 2+ car garage and added a main floor bedroom, bathroom, large sun room and laundry room.
The house has most of its original features including crown molding, hardwood floors under carpet, original windows, arched entrance from dining room to living room and lovely front porch.
